Privacy Policy

This notice explains how CasinoGauge handles personal information when you visit casinogauge.co.uk or email us. CasinoGauge is a UK-focused editorial information project; it is not a gambling operator and does not accept bets, hold player funds, or open player accounts.
Who is responsible?

Information we handle
- When you visit: technical request information such as your IP address, the page requested, date and time, browser/device and connection details, referrer information where supplied, and security or error events. Hosting, DNS and security services may process this information to deliver and protect the site.
- When you email us: the email address you use, your name if included, your message and any attachment you choose to send. Please do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or sensitive information that is not needed for your request.
- Search performance: the publisher may use Google Search Console reports to understand aggregate search appearances, clicks and pages. CasinoGauge does not currently run Google Analytics or an advertising/visitor-profiling tag on its public pages.
At present, the public site does not provide visitor accounts, contact forms, public comments, or payment facilities. Comments and pingbacks are closed on published pages.
Why we use information
- To deliver, secure and troubleshoot the website, using technical request and security information. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure information site.
- To answer messages, correction requests and privacy enquiries, using the information you send us. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding and maintaining editorial accountability; we also process information where needed to meet legal obligations, including data-protection requests.
- To maintain a record of material corrections, security incidents or legal requests where needed for accountability, dispute handling or legal obligations. We keep only information relevant to that purpose.
Cookies and browser storage
CasinoGauge does not currently use optional analytics or advertising cookies on its public pages, and it does not currently offer optional cookie choices. WordPress may use a temporary browser sessionStorage feature check to determine whether emoji display is supported; this is not used by CasinoGauge to identify you or build an advertising profile. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security technologies, including cookies, when protecting site traffic. See Cloudflare’s cookie information. You can also manage cookies and site storage through your browser settings. If we add non-essential tracking technologies, we will update this notice and provide any required choice before they are used.
Service providers and sharing
We do not sell personal information. We use service providers to operate the site. Hostinger provides website hosting. Cloudflare provides DNS and traffic-routing/security services and the domain’s email routing. Messages sent to a CasinoGauge address are forwarded to the publisher’s configured mailbox; that mailbox provider processes the message to deliver it. These providers may process technical data or message-routing information to provide their services, protect systems and comply with law. We may also disclose relevant information when required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
CasinoGauge links to external sources, including regulators and support organisations. When you choose to follow an external link, that website receives your request and handles information under its own privacy notice. CasinoGauge does not control those sites.
International processing
Cloudflare operates a global network. Its privacy policy describes international processing and the safeguards it uses for transfers, including the UK extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses where applicable. Hostinger’s data-processing terms describe international transfer safeguards, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum where applicable. How long information is kept
Email correspondence is kept while a request is being handled and for as long afterwards as it is reasonably needed to maintain an editorial correction record, respond to a related dispute, meet a legal obligation or protect legal claims. We review correspondence and remove or anonymise it when those purposes no longer require it. Hosting and network security logs are retained by Hostinger and Cloudflare under the terms and operational retention settings for their services; CasinoGauge does not set the exact retention period for those provider logs. Aggregated search-performance reports are retained only while useful for editorial and site improvement.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and lawful basis, you may have the right to request access, correction, erasure or restriction of your personal information, to object to processing, to receive certain information in a portable format, or to withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. The availability of a right depends on the processing involved. Email [email protected]; we may ask for information reasonably needed to confirm your identity and locate the relevant record.
You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). If possible, contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
Children and changes
CasinoGauge’s gambling-related information is intended for adults aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children. We may update this notice if the site or its data practices change; the latest update date will be shown at the top of this page.
